What airport should I fly into?

All of the following airports are about an hour and a half from St. Michaels:
Washington National (DCA)
Washington Dulles (IAD)
Baltimore-Washington International (BWI)
You can fly in and out of whichever allows the lowest fare or coordinate with other travelers to meet at an airport to share a car and the drive.


How do you get to St. Michael's from the airport?

Take Route 50 across the Bay Bridge, towards Easton (a bit over an hour). Bear right at the Easton Parkway, following signs for St. Michael's. After a few miles, you'll pass a shopping center on your left, and come to a traffic light, where you'll turn right (again, following signs for St. Michael's). Nine miles later, you'll be on Talbot Street, right in the middle of St. Michael's!


Why St. Michael's?

It's a beautiful harbor town. It's got a maritime museum (where we're having the wedding itself). It has the most delicious crabs in the world. And Brook's grand-parents used to live there - there have been Conners on St. Mary's Square for more than thirty years. Soon, there'll be a new Conner there!


Is it really a costume party?

Yes.


Do I have to wear a costume?

Yes.


Can I dress up as a wedding guest?

No.
But you can dress up as a bride or groom.


So what are the bride and groom dressing up as?

Pirates! Arrr!


What are other people dressing up as?

Zooey is dressing as a dragon. Bee is going to be, duh, a bee.


Are the Wed Pirates registered?

Yep...at...um...Crate & Barrel. Oh and they would love gift certificates to Ikea as well.
Yes...I know not so creative...but there's been loads to do in NYC...not the least of which involves dodging the...yuck...Republicans!
